We want to encourage you to think about food a little differently, so we will be running events, hosting competitions and doing fun stuff on the web.
Introducing The Young Gourmet TV Show Challenge for 2010 beginning now and due to finish in May 2010.
2005 saw our very first National competition and we were completely blown away by the number of schools who took up the Farm to Table Challenge and their awesome entries .
Our 2004 competition was the Melbourne Food and Wine Festival Young Gourmet Food Writer Competition where the entrants had to write a short story about "the best meal I ever had".
Our first competition was run in South Australia Young Gourmet Gastronomy Competition 2003. The competition categories included a Short Story, Recipe Writing and Food in Art. We got some fantastic entries and they inspired YG to keep going.
